An Appreciation Of Luxury And Opportunity
To have time is a luxury.
And to have the time to do things that you rarely get to do can be an unexpected opportunity.
Right now, whilst in unforseen and largely unpleasant circumstances, that opportunity has arrived for some. As long as it can be achieved within lock down restrictions and in circumstances unaffected by the virus.
So whilst this window remains, taking photographs has become my lock down challenge. No outside adventures, of course. Just my prescribed period of socially distanced exercise and my gratefully appreciated house and garden. But there are always views and angles anywhere that can be noticed and appreciated, whether inside or out.
And whilst the sun has been shining, the garden has become almost as much of a luxury as having the time to enjoy it.
I hope these photographs do some justice as to how valuable an outdoor space has become over these last few weeks.
