No, Really, You Can Go Outside Now

No, Really, You Can Go Outside Now

The streets are still quiet, much quieter than I had expected, following the lifting of another raft of lock down restrictions.

For those of you that believe what you see and hear in the media, and yes, I’m told that some still do, it’s really not how they would have you believe it is. London is quiet, there are no crowds on street corners and pubs are not full of the usual drunken suspects.

I walked from Vauxhall to Westminster and the roads were empty. Literally no cars on a main road in the middle of a working day in London. Quieter than a normal Sunday. This is lock down quiet.

Honestly, something is wrong.

It's as if we have been hidden away for such a long time and, now that the door had been unlocked and left open, people are too scared to step outside again.

I can’t imagine why.

Boom. And There It Is.
